If I was a rich girl.....
I always feel like a poor girl, but I slapped on this Veschi Jacket and a gold bikini and I felt like a bond girl.
I have been really trying to save money recently. Since I realize how much money I spend in SL. I had the pleasure of running into the owner of Veschi recently. She is another Ozimal addict. Bunny Power!!! I skadaddled over to her store, and low and behold, there was super cute clothing under 300L. I mean you can get like fatpacks for 500L. I like how a lot of her clothes can be dressed up sexy or cute. Like all girls, I love clothes that you can wear either way. The colors are beautiful, and over all the designs are very unique. Plus it is jump suit galore over there, and if anyone watches America's Next Top Model this season, you can totally have a Tyra moment, for like 200L. Sounds like a fabulous time to me, and if anyone wants to set up a Top Model Photo shoot just for some nerdy fun, IM me.

Why Didn't I Get Married?
Well it is easy to answer that question, because no one asked me.
I was bumbling around mainland...because I have been thinking about relocating. I know you are all probably thinking why mainland, answer is cuz it's cheap, and ain't nobody gonna tell Chloe what to do. I received a note card the other day from a designer, in it was a lm to her store located in mainland, and yes I know that Mainland is not just one big ol' sim, but ya know that is how my brain works. So I figured when in Rome, and tp'ed my ass over to a strip mall, where the House of Dashwood is located.
What I like about the House of Dashwood, is that the store is vintage and so are the prices. Most of the display photo's aren't very processed, so I must admit I was pleasantly suprised. Also unlike alot of ballroom gown places...the prices are extremely high.
I get spending the bucks if you are going to be jazz clubbing 24/7, but to be honest I cringe when someone invites me to their wedding. What the f*ck am I going to wear. I don't have 1000L to spend for something that I am going to wear once, and if I every lost my mind and decided to get married in sl, I would not, would not, spend a lot of money on the gown either. This is where House of Dashwood comes in, you can look pretty good for 300L or less. Now there are some issues with prim fit, but Dashwood has put a lot of thought into the details, and the textures she uses are very pretty. Plus she has LUCKY CHAIRS, and a low low low cost special area, perfect for newbies.
Not to forget about the fella's the House of Dashwood also has a male line, so if you are cost concious, and all men are...well for the most part, in sl when it comes to clothes. (if you arent *whispers call me)

Ohhh Yes!!!! Erm I mean OoEas!!!!
So here we go....please enjoy the ramblings.
You know to be honest I am amazed by the number of creative people in second life, and guess what all these fabulous creative, gorgeous, talented people are bunny crazed. Really, I mean I have met more designers and store owners then every before in my bunny lovin alter ego.
So today I happend to be sitting in the same square meters as Joie Arai, and she begins to talk about the new spring line at OoEas...my pixel ears immediately perked up, since you know I like to shop. Her friend squealed in excitement and tossed that dress on faster than you could say collard greens. It was a delicious Lime Green, and one look told me summer had arrived!
So I excused myself casually, in reality my heart was racing the moment the girl tossed that gorgeous dress on. I tp'ed out of their like someone had threatened to throw hot grits on me. When I arrived, I immediately focused in on The PERFECT SPRING INTO Summer dress, aka
THE"Prestige" Suede dress. The dress is sold in color packs, one purchase gets your four yummy shades, so no...hmm, which color..oh I dunno. (or am I the only one to do that), for 349L.The dress was designed to complement The BAX Prestige Line Suede boot collection, can we say instant fabulous outfit. My ass couldnt afford BAX boots, so I paired it with easy to blend via hud Kalnin's strappy sandals.
The texture is beautiful, and the colors are poppin, you can really wear the dress anywhere, and everywhere, you can literally almost feel the suede fabric. In real life, I could imagine just ballin that baby up, because it would be made of some scientific unwrinkable material, and going to the beach or a barbecue. In Sl, you could easily where this dress out for a night clubbin, or a lazy walk on the beach with that special someone.
When you slip on this dress you will have one of those I enjoy being a girl moments.
Blog Link, since I was unable to create a lm slurl, yes I am on crack...bunny crack.
Also Thrifty Fashionista's you can slap the midnight mania board and get the lovely lime dress. For FREE!!!

Aliyah
We all have our idols, whether they be musicians, artists, singers, models, celebutante's, politicians, authors, or philosophers. I know who some of my style icon's have been over the years, mostly people whom I identified with in one way or another. My first big fashion icon was Janet Jackson, I mean I literally had orange hair when she had orange hair, bought a key earing when I was eight, and rocked it...like I was Miss J. I am also a huge fan of Kelis, because to be honest I feel like she and I could be sistah's from a different mistah. I have always been a bit of an odd ball I love beauty that is tweaked, that makes your mind rethink the concept.
In SL I think it is sometimes hard to find your personal style, because clothes always fit...for the most part, and you can change your style completely whenever you want. Plus just in real life it is partially a matter of how you want other's to see you. Another thing is, that our personal style evolves in sl, which personally I feel always effects my personality. Maybe I am the only one. Recently Lelutka released IFE dark...and I who sent them a few notecards etc...about making another dark skin, felt as though my prayers had been answered. I received a message from my friend Nico, in my email box, and I dropped everything and logged in.
There are some great darker skin toned skins out there but like everyone I have my check off list. I LOVE Lelutka, because they release items often, and their skins, are just me. When I slid on IFE. Something changed, clicked, I just felt very right. The look is way more polished and more regal than I typically go for, but as I get older and embrace my unique looks, and become more polished in real life, maybe it is time for the more mature me to be reflected in SL. I tossed on some boon hair... and felt like I was channeling Aliyah, who is one of my bestfriends in real lifes personal style icons. I always thought she was gorgeous, and I recently just watched Queen of the Damned again at like 2am on a Friday morning. so here are some pics.

The Hourglass...50L-250L shapes/custom shapes under 31 days, free shape
Hey all....I have been toying with the idea of creating modifiable affordable shapes. Times are tough, and secondly I think everyone should be able to afford lookin' fabulous in sl, as well as rl, but that is a whole different matter. So for people under 31 days old Im me, and I will happily dole out 1 free shape to you. Therefore all the shapes I will create in the future will be 50l, and will go up to 250l, if you want a variety of shapes with the same face...taller, shorter, prim, non prim skirt...you get the gist. You also get the styling cards, the pics have been modified so contact me in world...for a demo... Chloe Thirdborn
Shapes...are so important in sl, they go hand in hand with skins, as newb's you quickly realize that you can drop 1000l and upwards on gorgeous skins, but if you still have a shape you arent in to...the skin is just not going to look as good. Models, definetly know the importance of shape, it is what makes you stand out, when basically everyone has access to the same skins in sl...
I am relatively new to shape making, but to be honest I like pretty but realistic looks. I have like one modely shape, that aint giraffe, but I like female shapes to look like females...so if your boobs are like a size d, and are standing at full attention, you are either a dude...or your not aware of adjusting the gravity level on your shape.
I am also available for custom, the shape below I did based off my friend, though, it would be easiest with custom if you either had a skin and a look in mind... Custom shapes will run between 250l-500l depending on the number of shapes you would like, for instance one smiling, one not...etc. I am also open to pregnant woman, who like their shape, and dont want to use default pregnancy shapes.
Most of the shapes below take real women into account...though I hope to increase variety.
Here they are.
Alina-based on rl friend, she comes in curvy and lean...super tall, with a gorgeous unique nose
Penelope-petite
Lyric- youthful petite, low curvage, a cup people
Mia-regular shape gal like medium height a size 10 or 12 in rl she has curves for days
Lelaani- Baby got back
Cuo- super cute, petite, squared jaw, innocent eyes, and cupie lips
Adele-on the taller side, curvaliscious women, she kinda reminds me of Adele the singer
Jala-The model...tallllll, legs for days, lean.
Boots...Thankya Jesus
Okay I think it is safe to say that I am probably only going to turn out two blog entries a month. Yes I know I suck...but being a new blogger, it is hard to get into a rhythm, sometimes. Yesterday I was feeling tres blase, and when I feel a bit...blechhh, like any girl I
like to shop.
like to shop.
So my next thought...was where to go. I think the coolest thing about Sl is the fashion creativity that is all around us. However often times I find myself drawn to things I would war in real life...sad I know, but hey sometimes I don antler's etc, so I am breaking out of my box.
I headed into Coco, and had to turn around and go right to the bank. I will tell you what got me all worked up...the boots. As any urban dwelling woman will tell you black...is essential, and boots, well also essential. I love all the boots I scooped up for a few reasons. a) They are super wearable meaning my ass aint gonna have to go boot shoppin for a whole year, yes I am one of those girls who lives in boots...the same ones normally. b) They come with a hud, that makes sizing easy to manipulate. c) There isnt any wearability weirdness meaning that your foot is hanging out depending on the angle. d) No sticker shock, all the boots were under 450l...cuz...So here come the pics. My whole outfit is Coco, Skin is Lelutka Eclat Makeup 3, and Hair is Maitreya. Lashes Glow Studio, Eyes Poetic Colors, and all poses were by Lap.
1st pic..Coco's riding boots
2nd pic...Coco's over the knee boots
3rd pic...Coco's lace up work boots
4th pic... Coco's zip up boot
Hmm....for some odd reason I can not copy a slurl at the moment... please search the stores listed above, most i have the lm's in other blog entries, if you just scroll through...

Trying to get lost at sea
Just took random shots, while waiting for a friend of mine who was working on a rezzed boat. Our mission was to get lost at sea...but we kinda fell flat, on the plus side, I got totake a few pics. I am starting to get into a whole kinda tomboyish look at the moment...hmmm maybe I will go shopping soon. I love when a new style gets into your mind, and spurs a shopping spree.
